Description

Length: 2.5 - 3mm.  Basic colour: pale to dark brown.  Pattern: variable, but often with dark U-shaped mark towards end of elytra.  Number of spots: 0. Pronotum: pale to dark brown.  Head colour: pale to dark brown.  Leg colour: pale to dark brown.  Other features: hairy; very long antennae.

Biology

Habitats: grassland, low growing vegetation. Host plants: grasses, thistle and Nettle. Food: aphids. Overwintering sites: low growing vegetation.
