Description

Size: 3.5-4mm
Basic colour: Head black, pronotum dark reddish brown, elytra brown.
Pattern colour: Elytra brown with a pale mark behind each shoulder and pale mark at apices of elytra.
Pronotoum: Tansverse. Hardly sinuate in front of obtuse hind angles.
Leg colour: Pale.

Biology

UKBAP Species: Yes
Habitat: Deciduous woods and shrubby land, both on the trees and in the litter.
Other notes: Head strongly constricted behind the eyes. Elytra wide and flat, striae almost absent. Wings present.
