Status: Common and widespread
Habitat: Various, mainly wetlands but also drier locations.
Host plant: Various Rosaceae
Overwintering: Adult hibernate in moss and grass tussocks, and under leaves.
Food: Underside of host leaves.
Other notes: Possible chalcid wasp parasite of larvae, but little known.
