Description

Size: 3.1-3.7mm
Basic colour: Shining black with a slight metallic reflection.
Pronotoum: Narrow, cylindrical, only slightly sinuate just in front of hind angles.
Leg colour: Reddish brown.

Biology

Habitat: In marshes and bogs.
Other notes: Frontal furrows deep and converging. Elytra widest behind middle, with six or seven punctured striae well developed near base only. Wings present.
